A family-owned business are set to bring new luxury, dog-friendly student accommodation to Lincoln.

The Dog House, headed by local entrepreneurial mother and daughter team Scarlett and Helen Blakey, aims to create a ‘home from home’ for students with four separate luxury apartments located in The Avenue.

The apartments are pet-friendly and will be ready to rent from August 2021.

Designed and furnished by partner company Ophelia Blake Interior Design, the company say the apartments will have a luxurious, modern feel that is a world away from classic student accommodation.

Design highlights will include an Instagram corner, quiet reading areas, murals on walls and a games section in each apartment, some complete with neon lit walls.

Scarlett Blakey, Founder of The Dog House Living and Co-Founder of Ophelia Blake, said: “Here at The Dog House we are genuinely passionate about providing students with a luxury and unique living experience, in a prime position close to the things that are most important to them.”
